In Hickman County we have an amazing blessing: choosing the people who will fill our most important government offices. Throughout history most people have not had this privilege. We get a voice in determining the leadership and direction of our county. But the the quality of leadership we receive will only be as good as the wisdom we show in how we vote. And we can only vote wisely if we are well equipped with information.

This website exists to present information on our candidates. We are publishing candidacy announcements, bios, resumes, and endorsements that we have found online or have been supplied. We have also contacted all the county mayor and sheriff candidates requesting information and answers to some questions. (We are working on contacting county commissioner candidates, and will add those soon.)

Obviously, there are many more questions that can and should be asked by voters.
