What is the role of government, as you see it?
First safety of it’s citizens whether it be Fire, Sheriff’s Dept. or our Schools!!
In what ways (if any) should the current county budget be re-aligned?
As with anything it needs to cut costs where possible and provide funds where needed most, safety first!!!
What are your top three goals for Hickman County, and how, specifically, would you work toward them as a commissioner?
1) Safety

3) Infastructure – I think we need protection in our schools, need county codes placed and enforced!! And work toward preparing for the growth that is occurring in the county!

What is your opinion on changing the composition or compensation (particularly health insurance benefit) of the county commission?
I feel that should not be an option unless for individual coverage only!! I feel the monthly fee could maybe increased a little to cover for travel expense (i.e.gas)
By default, how will you advocate resolving budget shortfalls?
I think reallocating some funds would be a start!!
When it comes to things like cleanup resolutions, animal control, etc, would you prefer to err on the side of the communities’ interests, or in the rights of the individual?
